Canadians, listen up. Winter is here. AKA the season of colds, the flu, dry skin and all that other fun stuff. I can’t really tell you how to battle colds or the flu (although I’ve heard a proper diet and exercise work wonders) but today, I have an amazing way to keep your skin moisturized throughout winter! For all you coffee lovers, this is a dream come true.
To make this coffee coconut facial scrub, there’s a super complex process… just kidding! You literally mix two ingredients together.
- Shopping List
- 3/4 cup unused ground coffee
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
To really lay it out for you, here’s a simple tutorial.
Step 5: (Optional)
Take selfies with your new coffee beard.
Rinse everything off your face with warm water and a cloth. When the grounds have disappeared, your skin will still feel oily, so continue to Step 7.
Wet a cloth, squeeze it out and hold the damp cloth on your face for at least 30 seconds. After that, rinse your face one final time and you will feel AMAZING.
My skin looked noticeably brighter and felt healthier after using this mask! Coconut oil is such an effective moisturizer and coffee… well, do I really need to elaborate?
Let me know if you try it out & how you like it in the comments! :)
